Airport Transportation

Arrival and departure airport transfers will not be provided by ITFA. Split airport is located 26 km west of the conference hotel. A taxi transfer takes approximately 30 minutes, with fares typically ranging between €50 to €80.

Getting around Split

Public transport
Split has an efficient bus network operated by Promet Split. Buses connect the city center with surrounding neighborhoods, beaches, and suburbs. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks, on board (cash), or via mobile apps.

Taxis and ride-hailing services
Taxis are widely available throughout the city, especially near the airport, ferry port, and major hotels. Ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Bolt also operate in Split and are often a convenient and cost-effective option.

Ferries and boats
Split is a major ferry hub, with regular services to nearby islands such as Brač, Hvar, and Šolta. Ferries and catamarans depart from the port located next to the Old Town.

The official currency is the EUR (€).

Electricity

Electricity in Split, operates on 230V / 50Hz. Power sockets are Type C and Type F (the standard two-round-pin European plugs).

Visitors from the UK, Ireland, the US, or other non-European countries will need a plug adapter, and in some cases a voltage converter if their devices are not compatible with 230V.
